VOK DAMS Munich Supports European Patent Office in European Inventor Award 2010 for the Fourth Time

For the fifth year, the European Patent Forum presented exceptional inventors in the categories Industry, SMEs/Research, Non-European Countries, and Lifetime Achievement with the European Inventor Award.

For the fourth time in a row, the European Patent Office entrusted the Munich office of the event- and live-marketing specialist VOK DAMS with the conception and organization of the prestigious event.

For this purpose, VOK DAMS developed the tried-and-tested event concept further. The usual award gala was divided into a matinee for the award ceremony and a gala evening as platform for the nominees, so that more topical media response could be evoked. An utterly successful concept.

Besides the organization, VOK DAMS Munich was also in charge of the event design, the entertainment concept and the participation management onsite. In addition, VOK DAMS also provided crucial support to the European Patent Forum’s conference on “Accessing Europe’s Renewable Energy Innovation Potential,” which accompanied the award event.

The European Inventor Award 2010 took place in Madrid, the capital of Spain, the holder of the EU presidency in the first half of the year 2010.

Thus, the appearance of the Spanish crown prince and his wife, Their Royal Highness Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias de Borbón y Grecia, bestowed particular glamour to the event.
