10 Years Event Agency VOK DAMS in China

When looking back at the foundation of the VOK DAMS offices in China it is a one-of-a-kind adventure we talk about.

10 years ago, VOK DAMS China was founded as VOK DAMS had realized early on how prudent it was to present a distinct profile in the Chinese market. It was manifest to fit quality standards to international requirements and to sensitively adjust the service portfolio to the regional surroundings and to the Chinese mentality.

In the meantime VOK DAMS China has established itself as one of the leading agencies in the market – thanks to manifold projects for companies such as Coca-Cola, Bayer, Mercedes-Benz, Oakley or Deutsche Bank. From Urumqi to Qingdao, from Beijing to Dongguan hundreds of events were implemented successfully all over China: dealer events, product launches, road shows, public and corporate events, hospitality programs, test drives on the road and on the racetrack, show productions as well as several trade show activities.

A success story that was accompanied by a strong increase in clients, projects and employees, so that the establishment of a further branch in China next to the one in Beijing became necessary and the Shanghai office was opened in 2009. Being part of one of the first event agencies, the staff of VOK DAMS in Beijing and Shanghai are thus “old hands” in the Chinese events business.
