After EX and GALA Award Lamborghini Winner at Automotive Brand Contest 2014

After the international prices at EX and GALA Award the global launch of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster in Miami also succeeded in convincing the judging panels at the renowned Automotive Brand Contest 2014. The jury awarded the launch as winner in the category „Architecture & Events“. The motto of the launch: “The Fastest City Takeover Ever!“

400 international dealers as well as lifestyle- and automobile-journalists experienced the extreme performance and the elegant design of a world brand on Miami’s Ocean Drive. It was here, at the “boulevard of the American automobile elite”, that the official presentation was kicked of. After a test-drive-parade through town Miami International Airport, the busiest airport of the United States, a unique high-speed experiment was conducted: at the runway several Lamborghini Aventador Roadster sped in front of a Boing 777 – a PR-spectacle, which went around the world.

The event also kicked-off a Live Campaign – a campaign in which the event is not just a mere communication channel but generates content and thus forms the epicenter of the overall campaign. The Automotive Brand Contest is the only neutral, international design competition for automobile marques.

With the competition the German Design Council honours outstanding product and communication design. In this context the focus is on the integral and consistent use of the brand across all media and products.
