The European Inventor Award in Vienna

VOK DAMS in charge of the 14th EPO European Inventor Award

VOK DAMS Worldwide, one of the leading agency for events and live marketing, is staging and producing the award ceremony and gala dinner of the European Patent Office (EPO) European Inventor Award, which will take place in Vienna on June 20, 2019.

After a successful event in Paris in 2018, the European Patent Office once again relies on the expertise of the VOK DAMS Munich team. The event will be opened by the new President of the European Patent Office, António Campinos, who took office in July 2018.

Around 650 guests from the fields of politics, business, intellectual property and science will meet in the Wiener Stadthalle for the award ceremony. In addition to exciting insights into the inventions of the contenders, the guests are offered an artistic framework program in two acts.

The European Inventor Award is one of Europe's most prestigious innovation awards. It honors individual inventors and inventor teams whose inventions are solutions to the demanding problems of our time. Inventions range from ecological packaging to rechargeable batteries, genetics, agriculture, video coding, cancer diagnosis, electron microscopy, advanced driver assistance systems and plastic recycling.

The finalists and winners are selected by an independent panel of international business, political, scientific, academic and research leaders.
