VOK DAMS takes home six Galaxy Awards
Six times the agency for events and live-marketing VOK DAMS managed to inspire the expert judging panel at this year’s Galaxy Awards. The BMW Vision iNEXT World Flight, the Pepsi MAX Challenge and the 50th anniversary of VEKA are the three projects honored with numerous awards each.
The BMW iNEXT World Flight received three Galaxy Awards. The launch event for BMW's concept car won silver in the category "Special Events: Product Awareness", bronze in the category "Special Events: Award Ceremony" and a honorable mention in the class "Public Relations: Product Launch". With the BMW iNEXT World Flight, approx. 400 international media representatives experienced the new BMW vision vehicle almost simultaneously around the world. It was presented in a tailor-made closed-room in a Lufthansa Boeing 777F in five days at four locations on three continents.
With the Pepsi MAX Challenge for PepsiCo Germany, VOK DAMS convinced the jury in two categories. For the Germany-wide brand experience, VOK DAMS won gold in the category "Public Relations: Awareness Campaign" and silver in the category "Public Relations: Event Marketing". Within eight days the project, which initiated both active and passive interaction with the target group, reached more than five million live views and more than 100,000 people took the taste test
Further VOK DAMS took home bronze in the category "Public Relations: Sustainability Project" for the anniversary celebration "50 Years of VEKA". Under the motto "50 years of VEKA - we design living spaces", the event and live-marketing experts produced two highly emotional gala evenings for the anniversary celebration of the world's leading manufacturers of plastic profile systems.
The internationally renowned Galaxy Award was created to promote and celebrate international quality standards in the various communication disciplines. The entries are judged on the basis of standards that take into account both creativity and craftsmanship.
