Transforming this year’s Vodafone Sales Kick-off into a full digital event

Vodafone Sales Kick-off 100% Digital

For their annual Sales Kick-off, Vodafone contracted VOK DAMS to produce this year’s episode 100% digital. The experts for events and live-marketing were responsible for the concept development, content creation, content management and production of the digital event. Vodafone decided on a digital event with live broadcast - instead of the usual live setting - to create a digital and yet personal, interactive path for the annual Sales Kick-off under Covid-19 conditions.

The two-day event under the motto "We keep Germany going" turned into a real-time online experience with 5,000 Vodafone employees of the sales organizations from all over Germany digitally brought together.

The event was broadcasted from the Vodafone headquarters in Dusseldorf. The 18th floor of the office building was converted into a TV studio, where a COVID-19 safe concept ensured that all safety precautions for guests and crew could be observed on site. All participants joined the two hour event from home via the user-friendly, Vodafone-branded interface and contribute to a successful virtual event in various sessions using a number of engaging interaction tools.

"The Vodafone Sales Kick-off became a dynamic and diversified digital event where information sharing, interoffice interaction and the seamless connection from HQ to home office were the main objectives. The feedback from the 5,000 participants was positive across the board. Highlights were the strategic information provided by Vodafone CEO Hannes Ametsreiter, as well as the emotional acknowledgments to the 775 best sales staff.
