VOK DAMS China: New Creative Competence in Boom Year 2015
Event and live marketing agency VOK DAMS has achieved record growth in 2014, and looks to continue this development for 2015 as well by augmenting its existing service portfolio with high value strategic and creative solutions for clients.
“Clearly, the worldview of the China marketer has expanded a great deal in the past few years,” said Ms. Sassi-Bucsit, a 10-year veteran of China and General Manager VOK DAMS China. “It is now business as usual for us to be providing Chinese clients with services in other countries, and it’s not uncommon for the live events we produce in China to include top International resources and talent.”
This means that live marketing agencies in China need to prepare to meet increasingly sophisticated requirements from clients, according to Ms. Sassi-Bucsit. The VOK DAMS China approach will include building robust brand and creative strategist capabilities in-house.
One example of this approach is the hiring of Mr. Tianlai Ma as a senior member of the agency’s creative design team. Mr. Ma is fluent in German and English as well as his native Chinese and boasts significant experience in exhibition set design concepts in both Germany and China. Experience that will be particularly valued for the upcoming Auto Shanghai.
