Innovative Teambuilding with VOK DAMS

Takeda Pharma breaks new ground

Pharmaceutical company Takeda breaks new ground after its merger with the Swiss pharmaceutical manufacturer Nycomed: with a new strategy the newly composed team is to embark into the future.

In a first joint conference approximately 160 internal staff and sales team met for three days to prepare for the challenges of the future. The Berlin office of the events and communication specialists VOK DAMS had won the intense pitch to design and implement this conference, and is very pleased about Takeda putting their trust into VOK DAMS Berlin.

True to the motto “TAKEOFF 2013. Gemeinsam Zukunft gestalten.” (Creating future together) a concept was developed that built on intense dialog. Focus was on communicating the new corporate strategy and philosophy as well as on involving all employees. Thus, it was imperative to create both ample space and scope for interaction and dialog.

VOK DAMS Berlin developed an innovative teamwork-methodology, which is based on the basics of neurosciences and behavioral biology. Here, the creativity and the full potential of each individual participant was tapped into to contribute towards a joint, overall result. The participants’ individual motivation as well as the overall feeling of being part of one, joint team were further important elements of the event and were implemented with an adventure tour and teambuilding measures supported by media.

Berlin was chosen as location for the meeting, as the sales and marketing activities of Takeda Germany are going to be based here from now on. With new client Takeda Pharma VOK DAMS successfully expands their business within the pharmaceutical sector further.

Takeda, headquartered in Osaka, Japan, is one of the ten most innovative pharmaceutical companies worldwide. In Germany, Takeda produces and markets medicines for i.a. gastroenterology, urology/gynecology, cardiology, CNS, metabolic disorders as well as pneumology.
